Stormwater Solutions was part of a consortium led by Reset Urban Design that undertook the Auckland Council’s Judges Bay Beach Stage 2 Replenishment project.

The project team had a strong focus on providing sound stormwater management to improve the water quality in Judges Bay.
Stormwater treatment devices were installed to ensure the highest treatment standard was achieved for not only the on-site surface runoff associated with the project area, but also the existing discharge from the upper Judges Bay Road pavement.

By incorporating raingarden, swales and proprietary devices in a sequence to treat the discharged water, the quality of water at the all-tide swimming beach has been significantly improved.
