The brief
The clients, a professional couple with three young children, were looking for a complete overall of their furniture and furnishings. They wanted a stylish home that was comfortable and child-friendly.
The design process
We created minimalistic spaces with strong pieces that make a statement. Soft, natural colours inspired by nature were introduced. The sofas are custom-made with a soft, yet heavy-duty fabric, that is easy to clean. The extendable dining room table is also a custom piece, made by New Zealand artisans, from solid American Oak. The rugs in the lounge and bedrooms are handmade, New Zealand designed and hypoallergenic. The office rug is made of recycled bottles and is surprisingly soft yet durable. Strong pieces of original art added the finishing touch to this project.

Whilst at Faye Resnick Design, Shanly worked with such renowned clients as Paris and Nicky Hilton, Caesars Palace, The Palms Hotel Las Vegas, Fendi Show Room in Beverly Hills and the list goes on.
Shanly’s skill-set and expertise, built up over 20 years, has been derived from projects undertaken internationally across a spectrum of interior design, including renovations, refurbishments and new builds covering residential, commercial and retail.
