The brief
The client wanted to do a substantial renovation of his 1980's Pacific Island-inspired house. The goal was to place it back on the property market after it didn't sell in its original condition.
The design process
The house was transformed into a beachy, resort-style residence by creating open-plan spaces and carefully selecting materials that softened the property so it would attract the majority of potential buyers. The installation of warm oak flooring and carpet, lighting, a combination of neutral paint colours, and a new kitchen and bathrooms, turned this house into a sought-after property that sold shortly after the renovation was completed.
