Established in Cambridge in 1906, Lewis Lawyers is built on more than 100 years of client relationships and service to the community. Lewis Lawyers today is a progressive, modern law firm with offices in Cambridge and Hamilton serving the greater Waikato region and beyond.

This client wanted feature lighting in the reception to be the first thing clients would see. They wanted to create a feeling of contemporary yet lasting style. The look was impressive yet comforting and warm.

To suit the size of the reception desk an 1830mm long by 300mm wide, 300mm high iO2 rectangle was chosen. Black suspension cords were chosen to tie in with the darker panelling in the room.

We love to see our iO2 rectangles in reception rooms.

About the
Professional

Maker Design Studio is the home of iO lighting. Working in wood, MAKER’s Mat Macmillan developed the iO range to deliver a product of lasting beauty and originality.

Our lights are crafted in Tauranga. Each one is created by hand using natural materials. Stunning alone, or grouped into clusters for impact. You can choose from a variety of standard sizes – or talk to us about a custom size to suit your particular space. Our iO lights are suitable for commercial as well as residential settings and are featured in a wide range of public and private buildings including commercial headquarters, embassies, hotels, conference centres etc. Many of the homes they are in are featured in magazines as winners of Home of the Year competitions.

iO lights bring simple, calm beauty to any setting, emitting a warm glow while adding substance as a beautifully designed object. Made using premium NZ ply sourced from locally grown trees, iO is a thoroughly sustainable New Zealand product.

We are proud to be NZ designed and made and are delighted to be able to have the NZ made logo on our packaging. You can follow our journey on Facebook and Instagram.
