Eden Villa Renovation.

This dark 1900s villa underwent a complete renovation.

Hello Saturday Interior Design worked with the client

to transform the living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms

and kitchen into functional and aesthetically pleasing

environments.

The kitchen, expertly built by Kitchen Link, is a

stunning example of design excellence. The curved island,

crafted with meticulous attention to detail, introduces

a soft and inviting touch to the space, while the Dekton

splashback and benchtop serve as striking focal points.

The incorporation of oak timber battens adds a playful

and dynamic element, perfectly suited for a bustling family

home. The lacquer cabinetry in a light-green hue further

enhances the kitchen’s warmth and charm.

The relocation of the kitchen to the newly constructed

extension was a strategic move, allowing for a more

spacious layout and the integration of desirable features

such as a large island and a conveniently “hidden”

scullery. The generous skylights and large windows flood

the area with natural light. Maintaining the elevated

bench height of 1m, a preference carried over from the

previous kitchen, not only accommodates the family’s

own height needs, but adds much sought-after storage

space by way of extra drawers.

Catering to a busy family of six, the kitchen design

prioritizes functionality while seamlessly blending in

elements that facilitate entertaining guests. The thoughtful

placement of the coffee machine, complete with its

dedicated space, sink and rubbish bin, exemplifies the

attention to detail and practicality that a great design team

can bring to a project.
