This holiday home is bathed in winter sun while being protected from the summer sun, with intimate bush and sea vistas. The outdoor areas spread around three sides of the house so most weather conditions are catered for and ther is a self-contained flat below for friends or family to stay.

This dream was not easy to achieve as the beachfront site was water access only and everything, including the four concrete tructs and a pump had to be barged t the site then al the timber was taken form the barge by helicopter to the site in 400kg packs. A huge logistical exercise but worth all the effort for a result like this.

Large walls of glass fit in with the design and good roof overhangs all round offer protection from the summer sun and make for a low maintenance house with the exterior cladding being a unique low maintenance oiled interlocking board and batten cladding system.
