Modern luxury with a traditional twist was the answer to this high-rise apartment requiring a makeover when the new owners purchased. Constraints of concrete walls within a multi-faceted multi-level development meant that designer Andrea Burney had to be creative in her transformation of the existing spaces with no structural changes. Opening up the footprint of the tricky kitchen space and integrating the diner bar means this room is now spacious and seamlessly multifunctional.
The modern glamour is showcased using materials such as Cosentino Dekton gloss splashbacks & Archant handles set against a backdrop of muted tones of the matt Dekton benchtop & lacquered cabinetry, by Marton Lee Cabinetry. These are contrasted with the warmth of the dark stained Bestwood veneer accent cabinetry and grounded by the stunning Creative Flooring herringbone engineered timber floor, all set against a warm backdrop of Resene Albescent White.
Top end Gaggenau and Neff appliances (including the practical retractable oven door) by Premier Appliances along with sleek Hettich AvanTech You hardware make the kitchen a dream to use. Hidden storage is both a design feature as well as practical to maximise the available storage.
The bathrooms and laundry continue this luxurious feel with Dekton tops and custom veneer cabinetry set against gloss & copper tiles from Tile Warehouse, Grohe & Zucchetti fittings from Robertson and heated towel rails from Heirloom.
Texture, pattern, contrast, glamour…spaces now very much enjoyed by the client!
