A CBD apartment transformation
A well-educated and well-travelled client, the owner of this apartment was initially hesitant to invest in professional interior design services. Located in a heritage-listed building, the concept for the interior design revolved around expressing the personality and experiences of the client and reflecting the detailed building exterior.
The existing interior was invigorated with the addition of textured wall finishes, which provide a backdrop for new furnishing selections, lighting, artwork and objects, and the arrangement of the apartment living areas reorganised so as to be more conducive to entertaining.
At final project hand-over, the client exclaimed “I could never have done this job myself!” One of the great joys in delivering Daniel’s interior design project was his fascination with the development of the concept, as the resultant outcome resonated greatly with him. “How did you get it so right?”, he queried. “Ah! The secrets of a great interior design team!”, we told him!
