Architect: Arcadian Design Ltd Builder: JC Builders Photographer: Jay Drew This apartment was in desperate need of some love, and required a multi-renovation to align the interior with its phenomenal location. The dark ceilings, outdated fittings and an awkward configuration culminated in a gloomy interior. Through addressing the flow, opening up the outdoor areas and maximizing some incredible existing architectural details it was possible to breathe life into the property. The kitchen is now flooded with natural light due to the floor to ceiling joinery. High-end finishes, designer lighting pieces, custom cabinetry, a statement glass balustrade and clever layering of materials have given this apartment a whole new look. A neutral soft grey palette and details (such as shutters) completed the connection with the coastal location.

“Kath has been a pleasure to work with from the initial conversations we had about our concept through to the planning, sourcing of materials and installation. Kath's design met both our brief and our budget. She had creative ideas on how to achieve the look and feel we wanted by highlighting key features and providing practical solutions for our more general spaces. Kath liaised with our contractors to ensure that her design was finished to high standards. We are thrilled at our finished gym / studio space and we have received lots of positive feedback about Kath's design”
