A stunning transformation of an outdated Gold Coast home into a wabi-sabi sanctuary, blending calming neutral tones, rich textures, and contemporary shapes for a harmonious balance between organic and modern aesthetics.
DNA of Design, Andy and Deb transformed an outdated Gold Coast home into a gorgeous wabi-sabi sanctuary with plenty of texture, calming neutral tones and contemporary shapes. The wabi-sabi design philosophy originates from Japan and focuses on simplicity and authenticity. With this in mind, there is a balance between organic and modern, to ensure the home felt natural without losing its contemporary edge.
Balanced Design
Iver’s sleek, brushed brass finish and modern oval backplates completed the look by balancing out the overall style and feel of the home without distracting from the rest of the design. The meticulously designed home embraces imperfections and creates a space that is authentic, functional, and calm.
