+ OUR BRIEF
The original home on this site, high on Clifton Hill, was destroyed in the Canterbury Earthquakes.
Our clients came to us with a simple brief. A modern, family friendly home that performed well and provided a warm, healthy and comfortable home.

+ OUR SOLUTION
The site is very steep, north-facing and enjoys incredible views over the ocean and city.

The design was carefully undertaken, in close collaboration with our clients, to achieve a home that maximises the views, ensures privacy and achieves our clients' desired outcome.

A series of simple block forms cascading down the hill formed the basis of the design, allowing each level to enjoy the incredible views over Christchurch and Pegasus Bay.
