An 'urban tramping hut' for a family with a keen interest in New Zealand's outdoors.

Our clients were keen to incorporate the feeling of a DoC tramping hut into their new home, while also making sure their new home was a home, not a hut.

Careful material selection and a simple design means this modest family homes sits beautifully in its neighbourhood.

This home is extremely low-energy, almost meeting the Passive House standard.
