Constructed with rich tones of corten steel and in-situ concrete, the Pouaka Waikura residence blends seamlessly into a landscape of bountiful complexities, nestled above the Shotover River.

Inside, pieces by Minotti, Gervasoni, Moooi & Linteloo furnish the interior living spaces.

Outside, Atelier Vierkant pots house herb gardens, a Roda dining setting overlooks the river, and Royal Botania's Alura lounge setting hugs the outdoor fire.

Flos's Casting exterior bollards line the perimeter of the courtyard gardens, illuminating the pathway to the central outdoor living.

Vincent Van Duysen's Infrastructure system for Flos, is suspended in the kitchen, dining, and living area as the main lighting source for the rooms. While iGuzzini's Laser Blades are used throughout the remainder of the home, slipping into the cedar-clad ceilings.

ECC has built a reputation for providing the absolute finest in European designer lighting and furniture. ECC was established in 1909 by George Levett Thorburn and is now run by grandson Mike Thorburn. Mike has been the driving force behind the development of an extensive range of designer lighting and furniture products over the last 30 years.

ECC continually searches the world for innovative designs and inventive solutions to meet increasingly complex lighting and design requirements. Every item in our showroom has been personally selected with an eye for the unique and original, something we have a true passion for. We firmly believe in building long term relationships with manufacturers as evidenced by our 20 year association with iGuzzini, Flos and Artemide; brands which draw on the talents of some of the world's leading designers.
