At Qantas’ renewed Auckland International Lounge, even the walls have been designed to soften the experience of travel.
Finished in ROCKCOTE Otsumigaki, a natural clay and lime plaster, the walls and ceilings have been lightly distressed to create a quiet, tactile backdrop in Resene Rice Cake.
Applied by Carson Projects, the plaster’s organic character sits naturally alongside timber, leather and abundant planting, including greenery emerging through hand-plastered porthole openings.
Designed by Architectus, with the fit-out delivered by Alaska Construction Interiors.
