The Victorian terrace frontage, iconic to the streetscape, has been restored with modern hues.

The shared bathroom takes advantage of its location and access to preinstalled services. Sharing footprint, the space underneath the stairs is further utilised as laundry, and storage space, concealed behind seamless joinery accessed through the bathroom.
Using a combination of materials similar in tone, however, differs in texture promotes visual interest whilst keeping harmony.
The first storey has been designated green hues used as an accent through the various rooms on this level.
The tone enhances the natural feel connecting the interior with the tree canopy views through the windows.

Graced with the same green hue, access to the street-facing balcony on the home's northern side is via the main bedroom.
The use of custom joinery is further employed, creating an incidental shelf above the bed as a bedhead and open cabinetry for personalised items.

Previous home occupants have left a timestamp through layering various materials used during the respective construction periods. These have been celebrated, making centrepieces and visual interests of the home.

The narrow hallway leading to the home's original termination is a vestibule to the light-saturated open-plan kitchen and adjacent dining spaces.
As the need for a growing family evolves, the operable walls allow the occupants to reconfigure the space as needed- maximising the versatility of a small footprint structure.
The clearstory windows define the southern extension form, allowing incidental natural light to enter, blanketing open plan kitchen and adjacent dining space. Further, the originality theme extends to the contemporary build through the exposed texture of

The inbuilt bench braced by the bay window above and sliding doors to the outdoor offer a casual setting for dinner with views of the surrounding vegetation.
