This gorgeous $3.7m Remuera villa is an absolute standout in the street. Built-in 1920 with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a stunning indoor/outdoor flow from the newly renovated kitchen and lounge area showcases Russell’s talent for breathing new life into historical treasures. With meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to quality, he seamlessly blended the villa's original features with modern amenities, creating a harmonious balance between old-world charm and contemporary luxury.
We returned all the walls to the structure, re-wired, re-roofed, and re-plumbed the entire house, and added rooms, including a stunning wine cellar. We also built a new deck to enhance the indoor /outdoor flow to the entertainment area and added skylights to give natural light in previously darker spaces.
As the original hallways were quite narrow, we widened them to give more space and height to the house without making it draughty or cold. We made sure to apply strict resource conditions to maintain the original building's look, feel and structure.
