Celebrating natural materials and a subdued colour palette.

Surrounded by the greens, silvers and caramels of the layered Australian bush, this project focused on celebrating natural materials and a subdued colour palette.

By using locally-sourced elements like gravel, reclaimed timber, corten steel, and raw concrete, Cos Design curated a palette that seamlessly blends with the surrounding landscape. Coastal plantings such as Carex, Lomandra, Westringia, and Correa further enrich the garden's tranquil atmosphere, evoking a genuine connection to its environment.

A coastal retreat for family and friends.

The expansive lap pool seamlessly integrates with the landscape, complemented by a sunken fire pit for cosy evenings with loved ones. Ample lawn space allows children to play freely, while alfresco areas featuring a wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ cater to adults seeking the quintessential Australian lifestyle.

Furniture was chosen to soften and complement the design.

We supplied furniture for this project by Kett, a design team that also draws inspiration from the Victorian landscape. Utilising teak - which will silver to grey, and pieces with a hand-woven features, the furniture was chosen to soften and complement the design
