At Silverstream School, six separate projects and funding streams were brought together as a coherent campus-wide transformation. Four classrooms were replaced, four refurbished and two new learning spaces added. A network of covered walkways now connects the school, improving circulation, weather protection and accessibility, including for students and visitors with visual impairments.
The learning environments were shaped through close collaboration with the school, combining workshops with observation of its established play-based teaching practice. A range of settings supports different learning experiences, while excellent acoustics, natural materials, and a carefully considered colour palette create calm, inclusive spaces for students and teachers of all ages.
