State Highway Lifestyle

Set within an expansive pastoral landscape, this contemporary rural residence reinterprets the traditional farmstead through a series of refined gabled forms. A carefully considered site plan establishes a strong arrival sequence, with interconnected volumes creating sheltered outdoor spaces while maintaining open views across the surrounding fields. A restrained material palette and cohesive detailing unify the home and its ancillary structures. At the heart of the project, a light-filled living pavilion features a vaulted ceiling with skylights, enhancing the sense of space and connection to the landscape. Warm timber, custom joinery, and soft, natural finishes balance the home’s clean architectural lines, resulting in a contemporary rural retreat that is both functional and inviting.
