Brief: Provide a modest family home that capitulates surrounding native bush while providing an interior space to suit a young family.

A heavy, minimal façade was created with careful shifts between planes which provides an approach to the home that anticipates an experience beyond. Once inside a backdrop of native bush scenes appear through windows like pictures.Solid brick walls to the exterior add texture and warm color to the utilitarian black steel siding.Light palates maintaining the brick but also including concrete and plaster line the interior spaces.
