Verdeco Road

The Brief: The homeowners approached Modern Age Kitchens & Joinery wanting a beautifully crafted kitchen that balanced modern functionality with high-end, custom joinery. Their vision was a space that felt refined, practical and seamless. They wanted a kitchen that enhanced their daily living and also elevated the overall design of their home. A feature was the impressive wine fridge that was a core feature of the kitchen. This meant integrating high-quality materials, precise cabinetry construction, and carefully considered layouts that would maximize storage, improve workflow and create a clean, cohesive aesthetic. The Challenge: Delivering this level of custom joinery required navigating several complexities. The existing space had fixed structural and service limitations that demanded careful planning to ensure every cabinet and appliance aligned perfectly. Achieving both a luxurious aesthetic and everyday practicality meant every millimeter mattered—panel alignment, grain matching, hardware selection and joinery construction all had to be executed with absolute precision. Integrating appliances seamlessly into the cabinetry without disrupting the clean lines presented another challenge, as did coordinating the joinery with surrounding interior finishes such as flooring, walls and lighting. As with any premium renovation in Christchurch, ensuring that materials, manufacturing and installation occurred with zero tolerance for error required exceptional teamwork between our designers, joiners and installers. The Result: An aesthetically modern kitchen and scullery in a beautiful residential home in Lincoln. The finished Verdeco Road kitchen is a standout example of high-end Christchurch joinery and bespoke craftsmanship. The space feels modern, refined and highly functional. Custom joinery offers generous, intelligently designed storage, while integrated appliances and beautifully executed detailing create a smooth, uninterrupted visual flow. The benchtops, surfaces and joinery finishes work cohesively to elevate the entire home, giving the clients a kitchen that is as impressive as it is practical. Every element—from the precision of the drawer systems to the seamless cabinetry lines—reflects the skill of our joiners and the care taken throughout the design and installation process. The result is a kitchen that fulfils the client’s brief entirely: a functional, modern and beautifully built space that highlights the quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail Modern Age Kitchens & Joinery is proud to deliver. Increased storage and bench space make the commission highly functional for day to day use with crisp clean lines and purposeful lighting.
