While Christchurch’s Simplexity Construction has a fair few domestic and commercial projects under their belt, the one that’s really turning heads is a city veterinary clinic.

Jarrod Southon, from Simplexity, says the company worked closely with the clients on every aspect. “It was a good team effort. The result is a cool building and we’re pretty proud of it.”

Inside, Plymasters Classique Canadian Oak features in the ceiling soaring over reception and the pet and owner waiting areas.

The high-grade, light-weight ply more than met expectations, proving easy to work with and creating an environment that is airy, natural, and welcoming. The Oak’s very uniform colour and grain contributed to the faultless finish.

Jarrod says commercial building interiors can run a real risk of looking bland. “This one is very sharp. It pops.”

The clinic’s design makes the most of its high-profile site, and perfectly reflects its friendly and down-to-earth approach to its business.
