Waimauku New Addition

We worked in partnership with the client and designer to open up and connect the house with the surrounding landscape and environment. The large living space incorporated a number of energy efficient features, including foundation and slab design, insulation, low-E double glazing to the exterior joinery, and passive heat transfer through a ventilation system from the new fireplace to the rest of the house. The swimming pool was incorporated into the design scheme with wrap-around hardwood decks and frameless glass balustrading.
