An asymmetric colorsteel wing roof set on an exposed concrete block structure addresses the street from the end of a long right-of-way. Concrete ribs with macrocarpa timber infill are expressed on the ceiling of the intermediate floor. A continuous steel perimeter beam provides an opportunity for large external openings and corner cantilevers to flow the interior spaces out into the valley the house sits beside.
