This very unique design will make a functional, contemporary home for a young family. Second time building for the owner so this project will be refined and deliberate. The rural outlook will be captured through large windows on the north-west side of the main house and the afternoon sun will warm the interior nicely. The main house is mostly only one room deep and reaches a massive 26m from the Ensuite to the 2nd bedroom. The living, kitchen and outdoor dining is in the center of the building with the lounge being sunken and separate to the main bathroom by an internal living wall. From the entry you can walk through the galley style kitchen to the main bathroom and the 2nd bedroom beyond that.

Supplementary to the main building, there is another small building that has a large single garage with laundry and a third guest bedroom with its own Ensuite. This is connected to the main building by a large carport. All in all the two buildings consist of 7 large external sliding doors or windows, which will really invite the outside in and provide seamless transition out to the beauty of the valley surrounding the home.

The house wall cladding will be a mix of vertical cedar, brick veneer and a gabion basket cladding system. The roof will be colorsteel 5 Rib in a low mono pitch with both rooflines angling back towards the carport.
