Grey Lynn Private Residence, additions & alterations

A beautiful, but tired, transitional villa required enlargement while maintaining the existing character. The concept engaged with the idea of sewing a patchwork of family backgrounds and physical site characteristics together. The existing features to be emphasized with the new areas celebrated. The home sings materially with the combination of white gib contrasted against band sawn concrete walls and dark stained timber floors.
