Designing a new collection is always a journey. With NoMud, we set out to create something that felt earthy and organic, yet remains lightweight, durable, and effortless to handle and style. A planter that brings refined texture and visual interest, while integrating seamlessly into any space, indoors or out.

Why We Designed Nomud

We wanted to capture the tactile, sculptural feel of clay and concrete pots, but
without the weight and fragility that often come with them. The result is NoMud — a
range that looks grounded and natural, yet is made from polyfibre, a lightweight
alternative that is durable and weather resistant, that makes moving and styling your
pots a breeze.

The name itself is a playful nod: “NoMud” because it’s not made from clay or mud —
but it brings all the earthy character you’d expect.

What Makes NoMud Unique

For us, NoMud evokes a free outdoor lifestyle — think balconies, courtyards,
gardens, and rooftops — spaces that invite you to gather, relax, and enjoy. Each
piece combines a sculptural form with a subtle textured finish, making it easy to layer
into different design styles, from contemporary to coastal, urban to organic.

Designing for Versatility

We designed the NoMud range of shapes and sizes including larger, narrow and upright forms, perfect for supporting trees and shrubs while taking up minimal footprint. This shape is particularly useful for privacy screening on balconies and in small gardens, where space is at a premium but impact still matters. All pieces in the range feature inbuilt pot feet, ensuring optimal drainage and ease of placement.

These pieces work beautifully as statement planters on their own, or as anchors in a broader planting scheme.

The Secret to Clusters

One of our favourite ways to style pots is in clusters. Grouping pots of varying
heights and sizes allows us to layer foliage, creating depth and visual rhythm.
Pots from the same range naturally work well together — but don’t be afraid to mix
contrasting shapes and finishes from different collections. That’s often where the
most interesting, design-led moments happen.

The NoMud range is made from polyfibre, a composite of clay, sand, fibreglass, and resin. Polyfibre is lightweight, durable, and weather-resistant, offering the strength of traditional materials like concrete or ceramic without the weight.

It is:

  • Handcrafted
  • Lightweight
  • Durable
  • Indoor/Outdoor
  • Textured
