American White Oak Applications:
White Oak has a beautiful natural grain and is less knotty than European Oak. It is a versatile timber that helps you achieve the look that brings character and uniqueness into your space. Works well in hand and machine tools and is slightly greasy to the touch. White Oak can be brought to an excellent finish as it glues, nails, screws, stains and takes paint and varnish well. It can be stained or oiled with a wide range of finished tones and is best used in interior applications such as:

White Oak tends to be more resistant to water damage, and it is a perfect choice for areas that have the potential of getting slightly damp. It is generally well kiln dried and also resists movement under reflective heat commonly experienced in front of glass windows and doors.
