Digital prints bring colour and visual interest to rooms as framed reproductions on poster paper, canvas prints and digital print signage. They offer a way to personalise a home and form part of ArchiPro’s wider selection of high quality wall decor products in New Zealand.

Digital prints can add artistic interest to any room, bringing colour, character and dynamism. They are printed reproductions of an artist’s original work, usually presented on poster paper and framed. Whether you prefer a contemporary touch with modern digital prints or more traditional canvas prints, ArchiPro’s selection from trusted suppliers across New Zealand has something for everyone.

Modern digital prints

If you’re a fan of modern home decor and artwork, opt for contemporary and modern digital prints. Modern digital prints come in distinctive patterns and contrasting colours, and add a striking touch to home in New Zealand.

Photographic prints

For those beautiful photos that you’ll want to frame forever, choose photographic prints-either in black and white or colour. Photographic prints are real photos, so they are guaranteed to draw the eyes of many admirers.

Canvas prints

Canvas prints are images printed over a stretched canvas, displayed between a frame. Canvas prints can look like unframed canvas paintings, and the unframed sides can showcase the 3D structure of a canvas.

The advantages of high-quality digital prints

When you purchase high-quality digital prints, you’re paying for the materials used, the vibrancy of the print, the artists’ contribution, and the overall aesthetic of the pieces. High-quality digital prints help to beautify a room, and by curating premium pieces, you can personalise your space just how you like it. Digital prints are usually placed in living spaces so you’ll likely be seeing them multiple times a day. High quality digital prints are vibrant in colour, printed on high quality materials, and are less likely to fade significantly due to UV exposure.

How to choose digital prints that are right for you

As with all artwork, there’s no right or wrong answer when it comes to choosing the right digital prints for you. If it reflects your tastes, passions and interests then it already makes itself a strong contender for a place on your wall. Other things to keep in mind are whether you prefer your decor pieces to match or not. Have a think too about whether you want just one digital print, or multiple prints clustered together - which can add a theme or draw more attention to the wall. You should also consider whether you prefer a print that’s framed or unframed and it might look next to other pieces of wall art.

How long will a digital print last?

With proper care, the average digital print is highly durable in New Zealand and can be fade-proof for more than 50 years. However, the fade rates and sensitivity to environmental factors like sunlike can depend on the individual print.

Is it tacky to have art prints?

No, it’s not tacky to have prints. Everyone’s artistic preferences are highly personalised, so there’s no right or wrong type of art to have in your home. As long as you think it looks beautiful and it makes you happy, it’s a go!

How do you protect digital prints?

There are several ways to protect your digital prints. Firstly, try to avoid folding or rolling up the prints. You’ll want to keep them flat as much as possible to avoid crumpling the edges. Next, frames are a great way to add support. While you can stick your print straight to the wall, frames help keep them stable and protected. Lastly, when transferring your prints from one place to another, use gloves to keep the prints smudge-proof.
