Handcrafted elements combined with raw textured stone elevates this dark moody kitchen.
In 2024, Bespoke Kitchens completed a stunning renovation of a large family home on Argyle Street, Herne Bay, Auckland, transforming the kitchen into a warm, inviting hub for family life. Recognising how essential this space was for gathering, cooking, sharing, and laughter, we relocated and reimagined the kitchen at the back of the property to spotlight its social importance. The design embraces a moody, dark colour palette paired with textured materials, creating an intimate yet sophisticated atmosphere that enhances family connection.
Craftsmanship was at the heart of this project, with handcrafted elements thoughtfully integrated throughout. A striking centerpiece is the bespoke light fittings, meticulously designed to radiate warmth and character. The stonework adds a tactile, artistic layer to the space, with textured finishes that showcase it as a true work of art. The result is a contemporary kitchen that not only meets the functional needs of the family but also reflects their love for handcrafted details and modern elegance.
