Indoor-outdoor flow was essential for this Wellington home. However, due to being located three storeys up in windy Wellington, Renovation Partner Lia Boersma had to get creative in her methods.

A multi-stacker sliding door system opens onto a beautiful timber deck with a new balustrade. The glass doors allow sunlight to filter through and illuminate the living room. Arguably the most innovative feature is the built-in barbeque. To protect it from flying across the deck in high winds it is cladded in rough stone with a heavy marble benchtop.
