This elegant new build in Taupo harmoniously blends contemporary and lodge-style design to create a home suited to the modern lakeside lifestyle. The open plan kitchen, dining and living spaces are filled with light, offering panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

Featuring pale oak timbers, speckled terrazzo stone and reeded tiles, the design mirrors the tranquility of the landscape by embracing undertones of navy and icy blue. Accents of plaid and wool textiles provide a subtle nod to lodge-style, creating a cozy environment for reading by the fire or for enjoying the view from the picture frame window.

The design balances the client’s love for minimalist design with lodge-living, providing a relaxing space for enjoying their retirement years.
