Boffa Miskell is a contemporary engineering company in the heart of Tauranga. They wanted a high-end design finish to their offices and the range of iO lighting created just that. They chose a row of five iO flutes across the staff kitchen benchtop and then a selection of iO Drum sizes for around the meeting/ relaxing area that looks out across the harbour. This job was commissioned by Bubble Interiors. 

Boffa Miskell team and their clients benefit from the warmth and contemporary yet timeless feel of the iO lighting range in their workspace. 

This is a wonderful downtown commercial setting that has chosen a range of iO lighting carefully to suit the vibe. For the team at Maker Design Studio, it's a real buzz to see our lighting featured in businesses in our hometown Tauranga. Tauranga is where the pendants are designed and made.

Maker Design Studio is the home of iO lighting. Working in wood, MAKER’s Mat Macmillan developed the iO range to deliver a product of lasting beauty and originality.

Our lights are crafted in Tauranga. Each one is created by hand using natural materials. Stunning alone, or grouped into clusters for impact. You can choose from a variety of standard sizes – or talk to us about a custom size to suit your particular space. Our iO lights are suitable for commercial as well as residential settings and are featured in a wide range of public and private buildings including commercial headquarters, embassies, hotels, conference centres etc. Many of the homes they are in are featured in magazines as winners of Home of the Year competitions.

iO lights bring simple, calm beauty to any setting, emitting a warm glow while adding substance as a beautifully designed object. Made using premium NZ ply sourced from locally grown trees, iO is a thoroughly sustainable New Zealand product.
