Chao's Yogurt

Hellospace was thrilled to bring the Chao's Yogurt project to life at Westfield Albany in 2025. The aim was to create a unique space that embodied the fun and playful essence of the brand, while also offering a modern and inviting experience for customers in a bustling area opposite Kmart. 

Our approach focused on selecting materials and textures that captured the creamy and indulgent qualities of frozen yogurt. Soft pinks, creamy neutrals, and bronze accents were meticulously chosen to reflect the smooth and fresh experience of Chao's yogurt. The design incorporated fluid curves reminiscent of the swirls of yogurt, along with custom elements like illuminated counters and LED backlit signage to inject a playful vibe into the space. 

The end result is a vibrant and welcoming spot within the mall, striking a harmonious balance between playful and refined. By incorporating bold branding elements and durable materials such as Hi-Macs and Terraso, we've helped establish a distinct visual identity for Chao's Yogurt in New Zealand, offering customers a unique experience that truly embodies the brand's essence.
