Nestled into the cliff of the Torbay Marine Reserve, our clients wanted a visually stunning family home, with the incorporation of future proofing technologies without overcapitalizing. Coming to us with an architectural design, we worked through intricate details to achieve our client’s ultimate dream home.
With an existing property on site, we took care of the total project from demolition through to completion. After falling in love with the location, these clients could not see their family anywhere but here. Fusing the concepts of an architectural yet functional family home, this design takes full advantage of the sea views and natural light. A ‘must have’ on the wish list was that all rooms had a sea view. The dream for this client was to rise with the sun at the breakfast bar and end the day with the sunset in the dining room. With specially imported floor coverings from Europe and purple heart decks, these clients made conscious choices for high quality yet sustainable materials and finished the home with an infinity pool overflowing to the stunning vistas of Rangitoto island.
