Not only was this a corner site, it also narrowed toward the northern boundary giving us a really difficult build platform. The L Shaped design has allowed maximum rear yard as well as creating privacy and great all day sun. The long low roof keeps the exterior lines clean and simple and the "pods" of the house float over their foundations. Divided into a Living wing and a bedrooms wing the 2 areas are joined by an all glass entryway that runs the exteriror cladding through to bring the outside in.

Welcome to Byrne Homes – (pronounced ‘burn’ - we know it’s confusing!) Yes we are an Auckland based multi award-winning building company, but enough about us – we want to talk about how we can help you!

4 reasons why you might consider to partner with us as your build team:

• We are honest. If you value transparency and open communication, we will make a great team.

Quality is of utmost importance to us. We have very high standards and limit the projects we work on to ensure we can achieve this for you.

• We are a small yet experienced team of experts. We believe that bigger is not always better. We take a personal approach, choosing to work closely with you every step of the way, ensuring nothing gets lost in translation.

• We take a huge amount of pride in what we do. Our aim is always to exceed our clients expectations which is why we have so many happy Byrne Homes customers.
