This contemporary kitchen and dining space is a beautiful exercise in balance, pairing crisp architectural lines with warm timber detailing to create a space that feels both elevated and welcoming. Designed by Domi Interiors, the brief centred on light-filled functionality with a strong emphasis on natural materials, texture and timeless finishes.
At the heart of the space, the Tenn Pendant Light is suspended above the generous island bench, acting as both a sculptural centrepiece and a practical task light. Its softly tapered timber form introduces warmth and softness against the clean white joinery, stone surfaces and terrazzo flooring, creating a harmonious balance of materials.
The considered lighting plan allows the space to transition seamlessly from day to night. By day, natural light floods the interior, by evening, the Tenn Pendant casts a soft, ambient glow that anchors the kitchen as the true heart of the home.
This project is a refined example of contemporary Australian residential design, where craftsmanship, functionality and material integrity come together to create a space that feels calm, connected and enduring.
