This system reduces sediment, chemicals including chlorine, bad taste, odour and is highly effective in eliminating bacteria and parasites in your water.
Suited to medium to large applications, these systems are designed for both mains and rainwater supply. This unit features a weather protection cover that is suitable for outdoor installation and an anti-tamper & childproof lockable lid. It incorporates an additional filtration stage for extra contaminant removal and capacity.
1. Coarse Sediment Filtration.
As with any form of collection from a freshwater source supply, sand, dirt, rust and other large particles are easily mixed up into the water supply. This was best addressed with a PL Series pleated 5-micron filter cartridge.
2. Taste & Odour Removal.
Leaf matter in the water supply breaks down and leaches tannins into the water, causing it to taste bitter and give off bad odours. The CB Series 5 micron carbon block cartridge is effective in removing these bad tastes & odours as well as any chemicals.
3. Fine Sediment Filtration
It is important to filter water before treatment with UV to make sure that all suspended particles are removed. UV light is not a filter so microorganisms and the suspended matter will not be removed from the treated water. In this final sediment filtration stage, a premium PX Series polyspun 1 micron filter cartridge is used.
4. UV Sterilisation
The final stage is what makes the creek water safe to drink. Using Radfire™ technology, a natural purification process that’s completely eco-friendly and chemical-free it kills 99.9% of bacteria in the water. Leaving pure, safe, great-tasting drinking water at every tap.
