Tōtara timber. Volcanic basalt. Milan Design Week. This is Nature—Ritual.

Nature—Ritual was Fisher & Paykel's immersive installation at Milan Design Week 2026, a 450m² world built from sculpted tōtara timber and volcanic basalt, drawing on the elemental landscapes of Aotearoa New Zealand to explore one simple idea: that thoughtful design can turn everyday routines into meaningful rituals.

Four scenarios unfolded inside: a Tea Experience, a Kitchen as Monolith, a Wine Experience, and a Fabric Care Experience. Each one felt as much like architecture as furniture. Our role was to help bring that vision to life.

One of the great privileges of what we do is being trusted to contribute to work at this level, and we couldn't be prouder of our team for the craft they brought to it.
