As an independent global business advisory firm, FTI Consulting is used to helping other organisations manage change. But when they invited Cachet to design their new office, they were keen to change their own way of working to facilitate more face-to-face communication.

Much to our delight, FTI were keen to challenge the approach to the design of the front office. By shifting the line of security deeper into the tenancy, we were able to create a work lounge/entertaining zone directly adjacent to the front office meeting suites.

This beautifully finished space gives clients and staff an opportunity to interact in more casual surrounds, and doubles as a brilliant in-house hospitality venue.

The work lounge is softly screened from the reception waiting lounge, but no doors or security means the front of house reception area is activated and energised – solving an often-encountered issue of a dead zone in reception.

The palette is colourful and lively while being suitably corporate and sophisticated. Filled with natural light and plants, it’s a joyful and relaxing space that brings staff and clients together.
