Hardwicke St

Hardwicke house at sumner beach has been designed as a relaxed home for a family to grow. with a very specific brief and a tight site, this house was always going to deliver challenges. Hard wearing natural materials and double height light airy spaces within give the home it's modern bach feel.

Our client requiredhigh levels of sustainable design to make for very low energy consumption. We maximised passive solar gain & included - underfloor heating, solar water heating, thermally broken windows, LED lighting (none of which pierce the thermal envelope).
