Contemporary workplace celebrates leading hospital's rich history.
Formally the Victorian Infectious Disease Reference Laboratory, Jane Bell House has had a make-over and is now a contemporary workplace for Royal Melbourne Hospital's administration, marketing, and people & culture teams.
The design draws on and celebrates the hospital's history of providing health care for Melbournians for over 160 years. Archive images have been used at a large scale on internal sliding glass doors to provide privacy to meeting rooms and wayfinding assistance, as well as to connect staff with the institution they are contributing to.
A variety of break-out and tech-enabled meeting spaces support flexible, collaborative, and focused working styles.
