This building is Kathmandu’s flagship store and marks their return to central Christchurch and their on going commitment to the city.The building occupies a prominent city corner and an important part of the retail precinct.The folded forms on the face of the building and the single colour used provides a bold and unique façade that the public can identify as the ‘Kathmandu building’The digital screens provide movement, colour and light to the street scape and add to the ‘retail’ nature of this building and the precinct it is in.
