Construction of Locale Ivanhoe:
Balmain & Co was awarded the construction of Locale Ivanhoe in late 2022 with groundworks commencing shortly after.
Construction Update: May 2023
Construction is underway on site for Locale at 1023 Heidelberg Road, Ivanhoe. So far, basement retention works, civil drainage, pad footings and slab on ground works have all been completed. Installation of all of the vertical structural elements are also complete for basement levels 1 and 2, along with the suspended slab on basement level 1 and the suspended ramp. Balmain & Co is looking forward to seeing Locale’s structure rise out of the ground over the next few months as the suspended structure works progress towards top-out.
Construction Update: August 2023
Construction recently reached structure top out at Locale Ivanhoe marking the completion of the structural framework of the building.
The completion of the structure is not just a physical milestone; it carries great significance and represents a major achievement in the construction process of the project. As our site team continues to progress, the internals at Locale Ivanhoe will take shape in the months to come as finishes trades work their way through each residence.
The team at Balmain & Co is also looking forward to seeing the facade take shape behind the scaffold with the highly anticipated reveal due to take place later in the year.

With the finishing touches well underway, we are on the homestretch at Locale Ivanhoe.
Our project team is expected to reach practical completion in just a few months, bringing us closer to the unveiling of these beautiful new homes.
