Lodge Real Estate is an iconic Hamilton business that has connected people and place for over 50 years. Alongside a brand refresh by our sister studio Daymark, we supported Lodge in creating a flagship headquarters to serve their Residential, Commercial, and Property Management divisions.
Lodge Real Estate is an iconic Hamilton business and has supported the city as the bridge between people and place for over 50 years. In parallel with a brand refresh by our sister studio Daymark, we helped the teams at Lodge with a flagship headquarters for divisions across Residential, Commercial and Property Management. The client vision was to create a beautiful, brand-centric space where all team members could authentically connect, collaborate and elevate their daily work.
The ground floor greets agents, buyers and vendors with an informal, humming social space that sets the tone for hospitality and creates a platform for relationships to be built. The auction space is cleverly connected to the social space and the use of large format curtains allow overflow for larger events. Acoustic quality was strategically layered through all meeting spaces and work neighborhoods, and convenient breakout lounges and furniture provide plenty of moments for rest and connection.
The end result is a workspace that truly embodies the brand's new tagline "You Belong Here" and is a daily reminder to all that the Lodge team and clients are truly valued and supported by an industry leader.

"We first became acquainted with Daymark and Designwell when searching for a design company to lead the re-fit of our central city office. At the time, we were also interested in updating our marketing strategy, which had, over time, become misaligned. Alexander convinced us of the value in updating our strategy first so it could be reflected in the environment and workflow of the renovation.
The Daymark team led us through a process — from research to final strategic vision — that was revealing and compelling. It helped set our marketing direction and embedded our values within all aspects of the business. Designwell then integrated this strategy into the design process for the re-fit. Concepts such as transparency and being local were physically interpreted and materialised, and Lodge’s distinctive livery was seamlessly woven into the design.
Not only does the finished product give our team comfortable, modern spaces to work within, it also provides them with a real-time, everyday sense of who we are. In addition, Designwell created a branch design brief that incorporates elements from our head office into each branch, creating a cohesive and familiar environment across all seven locations."
