The 46,450-square-meter Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton opened in December 2013, offering military personnel a healing and calming environment from arrival to departure. Replacing a 1960s-era building that required significant seismic retrofitting, the new facility was designed with efficiency and accessibility in mind.
With a high volume of outpatient visits, ensuring ample and convenient parking was a top priority. The project includes a multi-level parking garage and additional surface lots, providing over 2,500 parking spaces for patients. Wovenpanel® was used extensively in the garage’s partitions and railings, offering strength, security, and modern architectural appeal, while maintaining visibility and airflow throughout the structure.
