Following a three-year renovation and expansion, LSU University Recreation’s (UREC) new Student Recreation Center reopened with state-of-the-art facilities for fitness, wellness, aquatics, and outdoor adventure. The 23,225-square-meter facility, incorporates Wovenpanel® as infill panels for the extensive railing system throughout the space.
The refined aesthetic of Wovenpanel® complements both modern builds and restoration projects. The woven metal design features precise intersections and clean, structured lines, enhancing the sleek architecture of the recreation center. Built for strength and durability, the panels are designed to withstand heavy use while providing essential fall protection. Additionally, the high open area of the mesh maintains visibility and openness, ensuring a sense of connectivity throughout the UREC.
