Located on Sydney's beautiful Northern Beaches, this apartment required an equally beautiful beach-inspired makeover to match its surroundings. Designers Your Beautiful Home selected Pallido Herringbone timber flooring from the Havwoods Italian Collection to feature throughout.

The owners of this large, perfectly located, beachfront home, desired to give it a much-needed contemporary revamp. The challenge they set for the designers, Your Beautiful Home, was that they wanted a beach-inspired vibe that was not cliche.

You Beautiful Home selected Pallido herringbone timber flooring to feature throughout the home. The beautiful sandy hues of Pallido provided the beach vibe, and warmth and enhanced the natural light. Selecting to lay the Pallido in a herringbone pattern delivered a sophistication and fresh feel that the clients loved and that stood the design apart from beach cliche.

“Being in an apartment building, we were limited with the amount of windows down the side so you can tend to get darker areas. Pallido's colouring gives a beautiful, fresh, open feeling. Pallido was also perfect for the job due to its thin profile which enabled ceiling height limitations to be addressed successfully. The design was able to be carried seamlessly from room to room including using Pallido straight planks to beautifully clad the stairs and keep the flooring consistent throughout the home.

The timber flooring selection was fundamental to the overall design aesthetic of the home and paired perfectly with the beautiful blue tones, textures, and materials used throughout.
