Owner and Director Geoff Whelan has been a builder for 30 years. His building business began in Ponsonby, however after completing a cafe and public platform development in Oneroa village, other Waiheke projects quickly followed. In 2014, he closed his Auckland building business to focus entirely on building on Waiheke. Geoff is a Registered Master Builder, NZ Trade Qualified, Licensed Building Practitioner (Site 2), and a member of Site Safe.

Whelan Building now have 25 builders on the island. Our staff are Trade Qualified professionals, or are actively working towards completing their apprenticeship.
