Papatoetoe Youthline Hub

Transformation of an existing building that was previously the Papatoetoe Fire Station into a new Youthline and community facility.  This required extensive consultation with community and user groups and liaison with the Youthline Steering Committee.  Following this consultation Logan Architects Ltd produced an extensive Design Scope Working Document and then a Technical Design Scope Report to assist the youth focused collaborative design process.  The design has retained historic aspects of the fire station while transforming spaces into a modern community facility.  The community space includes a medical facility, helpline centre, hospitality teaching facility & café, sporting and recreational areas and multipurpose spaces to cater for various community groups.
